This year, the festival will be held in May to coincide with Kangaroo Valley’s Sculpture in the Valley.

Ten Thousand Paces Gallery director Hamish Ta-me said there was a major prize of more than $12,000.

This was due to the success of the previous festival, which saw high visitation numbers and strong sales.

“It’s exciting to be able to offer a significant prize” Mr Ta-me said.
