The funeral will be at Unity Hill Uniting Church, Port Lincoln, from 11am.

A statement –released on behalf of the families over the weekend –made it clear that media representatives would not be permitted access to the funeral service, the burial or the memorial in the wake of the trio’s tragic deaths, which shook the nation earlier this month.

Media were requested to be respectful and understanding as family and friends farewelled the trio, who died on January 4.

A spokeswoman said it “would be a traumatic day for all involved” and the family required privacy to grieve the loss of their loved ones.

“They do not need to have added stress or pressure from any organisation or individual who chooses not to honour their request,” she said.

A fundraising account set up at Port Lincoln Community Bank had raised $63,000 to support Melissa Little, mother of Koda and Hunter and wife of Damien, as of 9am on Monday.

Bank manager Phil Channon said he met with Mrs Little on Monday morning to discuss and plan how the money would be used.

Mr Channon said the money would be distributed this week, but the fundraising account would remain operational for at least another week.

Donations can be made online or at any Bendigo Bank branch to the following account: KL Kidney and JM Fraser.BSB:633000.Account number: 156468415.
