Ein Stein brings Bavarian foods to Miranda

Bavarian Bier CafeTHEY call him “Ein Stein” because he is very skilled creating Bavarian craft beer and burgers and hot dogs to go with it.

The fictitious character has become the face of the Bavarian Bier Cafe and Rooftop Bar, Westfield Miranda, along with other similar establishments.

Ein Stein’s Bavarian-inspired burgers and hot dogs come with haus-made sauces and condiments to complement the new craft brews now available at the Westfield Miranda cafe.

The “genius” has combined Bavarian flavours with fresh Australian produce to create six burgers and five hot dogs to pair with the beer.

The strategy behind the menu is to encourage diners to use their own inventive streaks for food and make salads, adding fruit, nuts, seeds and crunchy additions such as croutons, using a bowl for their salads, or a wrap.

Ein Stein has also created four craft beers and food pairings, at the price of $15, to run throughout January.

Customers can mix and match until they discover their favourite pairings.

Ein Stein will also be giving out Bavarian gifts, including caps, key rings and frisbees throughout January.

Not only are the beer and food menus being given a new look, the Bavarian Bier Cafés are undergoing a makeover with Ein Stein making sure they’ll be lighter and brighter for families, groups of friends and partygoers looking for summertime fun.

The new Crafty Bavarian beers include Munich Lager, Butcher’s Bride Pale Ale, a wheat and barley blend called Hop Dock and the low carbohydrate Blonde Moment.

They are all brewed in Australia under the Crafty Bavarian Brewing Company label using Bavarian recipes and 500 years of brewing tradition.

They are available on tap exclusively at all Bavarian Bier Cafés and Munich Brauhau in addition to a line-up of traditional, imported German beers.
